Cade Maguire was born and raised in Texas and very serious Texas Longhorn fan. Retta Palmer is born and raised in Oklahoma and is a Oklahoma Sooner fan. Mix these two up working together on a ranch in Texas and you have a lot of fun. Retta recently lost her father and had to sell the family ranch to pay medical bills. She comes to Longhorn Canyon Ranch to work five weeks with a group of children brought in from foster homes and needy families. Retta thinks she will be there 5 weeks and then move on back her job s an executive at a bank she worked at before her Dad died. Life gives you surprises when you least expect it. Cowboy Bold is the first in the series of this and you will get hooked with page one and not want to stop reading. Highly recommend any book by Carolyn Brown.
